Privacy Policy
Tickr · Last updated May 27, 2026
Tickr is built on a simple principle: your time data is yours. The app stores everything locally on your device and does not require an account. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tickr collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Please read this policy carefully. By using Tickr, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
Tickr is a local-only application. All activity names, timer entries, and usage history you create are stored exclusively on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device through Tickr itself.
Tickr does include networking code that may communicate with a backend service for limited operational purposes. The specific data transmitted through that channel is described below. Tickr does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
How We Use Information
Your locally stored timer and activity data is used solely to display your tracked sessions, render the weekly insights chart, and power the Live Activity on your Lock Screen. None of this data is sent to any server.
Any technical data that may pass through backend networking infrastructure is used only to support core app functionality and is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Product And Technical Data
Tickr may collect minimal technical information necessary for the app to function correctly. This could include anonymised diagnostic signals or error reports to identify and fix crashes or performance issues. Such data, if collected, is not linked to your identity and is not shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
Tickr does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.
How We Share Information
Tickr does not sell, rent, or trade any information about you. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process. Because Tickr stores data locally and collects minimal technical data, there is very little to disclose in such circumstances.
Data Retention
Your activity and timer data lives on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data. Any minimal technical data that may reside on backend infrastructure is retained only as long as necessary for operational purposes and is then deleted.
Your Choices
Because Tickr does not require an account, there is no account to delete. To remove all of your data, simply delete the app from your device. This action is immediate and irreversible.
Live Activity and notification permissions can be managed at any time through iOS Settings → Tickr.
Children's Privacy
Tickr is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Tickr, please contact us so we can address the situation promptly.
Contact
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or Tickr's data practices, please reach out to us. Contact details are available on the Tickr support page. We will respond to privacy inquiries as promptly as possible.
