Terms of Service

Tickr · Last updated May 27, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Tickr, a local-only time-tracking application for iOS. By downloading or using Tickr, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use Of The Service

Tickr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial time-tracking purposes. You may not use Tickr for any unlawful purpose or in any manner inconsistent with these terms.

Tickr is provided as a standalone iOS application. Features include local timer tracking, a Live Activity for the Lock Screen, and an on-device weekly insights chart. All data is stored locally on your device.

Accounts And Eligibility

Tickr does not require you to create an account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Tickr. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using Tickr on behalf of an organisation or minor child, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these terms on their behalf.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tickr only for lawful personal productivity purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
  • Use Tickr in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the app or associated infrastructure.
  • Use Tickr to infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights of any person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any backend systems associated with Tickr.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Tickr, including its design, code, graphics, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to the developer of Tickr. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You retain ownership of the activity names and entries you create. Because all data is stored locally on your device, the developer has no access to your content.

Disclaimers

Tickr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that Tickr will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of Tickr is at your sole risk.

Timer accuracy depends on iOS system resources and background processing policies. The developer makes no guarantee of precise timekeeping under all device conditions.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Tickr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Tickr, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because Tickr stores data locally, the developer is not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, OS updates, or accidental deletion.

Termination

These terms remain in effect for as long as you use Tickr. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the app from your device. The developer reserves the right to discontinue Tickr or any feature at any time without notice.

Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after you stop using Tickr.

Changes To These Terms

The developer may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updated terms will be made available through the App Store listing or the Tickr support page. Your continued use of Tickr after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
