Parkstamp · Last updated May 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how carrie mckeegan ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Parkstamp (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
By using Parkstamp, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Parkstamp is designed with a minimal data footprint. The information we collect falls into two categories: information you provide directly and information your device provides automatically.
- Visit logs: parks you mark as visited, bucket-list parks, visit dates, ratings, companion names, and notes you enter.
- Photos: any photos you attach to visit logs are stored locally on your device.
- Usage data: basic app interaction data sufficient to keep the app functioning (e.g., app version, device operating system type). No analytics service is used.
- We do not collect your name, email address, location data, health data, contacts, microphone input, or camera data unless you explicitly provide content through the App's features.
How We Use Information
We use the information you provide solely to deliver and improve the core features of Parkstamp.
- To display your personal parks passport and track your visit progress.
- To generate shareable passport card images from your visit data.
- To save and restore your visit logs and notes on your device.
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Product And Technical Data
Parkstamp may collect limited technical data to maintain app stability and compatibility. This data is not linked to your identity.
- App version and device operating system version.
- Crash reports generated by the operating system, if any, that may be surfaced through Apple's standard developer tools.
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK is integrated into Parkstamp.
How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.
The only sharing that occurs is sharing you initiate yourself, such as when you export or share a passport card image using your device's native share sheet.
- Sharing is always user-initiated and uses your device's native operating system share functionality.
- No backend server receives or stores your visit data.
Data Retention
All visit logs, notes, and photos you create in Parkstamp are stored locally on your device. We do not store your data on external servers.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored Parkstamp data.

Because Parkstamp stores your data locally on your device, you have full control over it.
- You may delete individual visit logs or notes at any time within the App.
- You may uninstall Parkstamp at any time, which will permanently delete all locally stored data.
- You may contact us at timmymckeegan@icloud.com with any privacy-related questions or requests.
