Terms of Service

Parkstamp provides a personal digital passport for tracking visits to the 63 official US National Parks. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Apple devices as permitted by these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

Parkstamp does not require you to create an account. All data is stored locally on your device. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You agree to use Parkstamp only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

The App, including its design, graphics, text, icons, and code, is owned by carrie mckeegan and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

National Park names and designations are properties of the United States National Park Service. Parkstamp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Park Service or any government agency.

Content you create within the App — such as your notes and photos — remains yours. You grant us no rights to that content.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Park information provided in the App is for general reference only and may not reflect current conditions. Always consult official National Park Service resources before visiting a park.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, carrie mckeegan SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or your access to it at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other business reason.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App terminates your license and removes all locally stored data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
