Subscription and purchase data: When you subscribe to Northstar Pro, Apple's StoreKit framework processes your payment. We receive a receipt or transaction record confirming your subscription status but do not receive your full payment card details.
Goal and deposit data: The savings goals and deposit amounts you enter are stored on our backend to sync your experience across devices and sessions.
Device and usage data: Basic technical information such as app version, device type, and operating system version may be transmitted to our backend to maintain service compatibility.
Communications data: If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in that communication, including your email address.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
To process and verify your Northstar Pro subscription status.
To sync your goals and deposit history across sessions via our backend.

Product And Technical Data

Our custom backend receives the data you enter into the App — specifically your savings goals, deposit logs, and associated metadata (such as goal names and target amounts). This data is stored to power the core functionality of the App.

We do not use third-party analytics services. We do not serve advertisements. We do not link your in-app data to advertising profiles or share it with advertising networks.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes. Limited sharing occurs only in the following circumstances:

Apple / StoreKit: Apple processes subscription payments on our behalf under Apple's own privacy policy.
Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice in the App or by email if this occurs.

Data Retention

We retain your goal and deposit data for as long as necessary to provide the App's services. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at lioemmerich@gmail.com and we will process your request in a reasonable timeframe.

Subscription transaction records may be retained for the period required to resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.

Subscription management: You may manage or cancel your Northstar Pro subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

Northstar tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
