Terms of Service

Sweep is a tool that analyzes your iPhone photo library locally and helps you identify and delete files to free up storage space. Sweep operates entirely on your device. No data is transmitted to any server operated by us or any third party.

You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all deletions before they are executed. Once you confirm a deletion, items are moved to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album consistent with Apple's standard behavior. We strongly encourage you to review items before confirming any bulk delete action.

Sweep does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. You must be of the minimum age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Sweep. By using Sweep you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You agree to use Sweep only for its intended purpose of managing storage on your personal iPhone. You agree not to:

All rights, title, and interest in and to Sweep, including its design, code, graphics, and content, are and remain the exclusive property of the developer. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sweep on your personal Apple device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.

Sweep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Sweep will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any deletion results will be accurate or complete. Photo analysis is performed algorithmically and may not identify every duplicate or large file. You should always review suggested deletions before confirming.

Deletions confirmed through Sweep are subject to Apple's Photos app behavior, including the Recently Deleted album retention period. We are not responsible for permanent data loss resulting from your confirmed deletion actions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of photos or videos, or loss of profits, arising out of or related to your use of Sweep, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use Sweep. You may stop using Sweep at any time by deleting the app from your device. We may update, suspend, or discontinue Sweep at any time without notice. Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms ends immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice or an App Store update description where feasible. Continued use of Sweep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
