Terms of Service

Tempo · Last updated May 2, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Tempo, a local-only time tracking application. By downloading or using Tempo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use Of The Service

Tempo is a personal productivity application that runs entirely on your device. It provides time tracking, project tagging, and daily and weekly insights without requiring an account or network connection for core functionality.

You may use Tempo for personal, educational, and professional productivity purposes in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws.

Accounts And Eligibility

Tempo does not require you to create an account. There is no registration, login, or cloud sync associated with this application.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Tempo. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tempo only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its intended function as a personal time tracking tool. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of Tempo.
  • Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
  • Circumvent any technical measures or limitations implemented in the app.

Intellectual Property

Tempo and all associated content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks are the intellectual property of the app's developer. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership interest in the app or its components.

You retain ownership of all data — time entries, project names, notes, and other content — that you create within Tempo.

Disclaimers

Tempo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Tempo is a personal productivity tool. It is not intended to serve as a legal record of time worked or as a substitute for professional timekeeping systems required by law or contract.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Tempo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the app, including any loss of data.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, we strongly encourage regular device backups to prevent data loss.

Termination

These terms remain in effect for as long as you use Tempo. You may stop using Tempo at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored app data.

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify Tempo at any time without prior notice.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, the updated terms will be made available through the app or its App Store page. Continued use of Tempo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
